I've gone through some of the past operations updates and listed the results below. It's very clear as to why Neil is upbeat regarding the upcoming Nomgon flow test.

    Nomgon 1- 5/2/2020
82m net coal. Coal quality is highly encouraging for gas content and permeability the coals are visibly fractured and cleated, which bodes well for their permeability. Abundant gas bubbling from the recovered core was noted across the whole interval prior to it being representatively sampled for gas content desorption measurement.

The resultant adsorption isotherm data derived from this main seam test, combined with the wellsite desorption analysis, proximate analysis, gas chromatography, and Injectivity Fall Off Testing (IFOT), are interpreted to indicate this main coal to be near fully gas saturated.

12/6/2020 - non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mongolia’s MT Group under which the parties will seek to develop a small-scale LNG (SSLNG) plant to supply fuel to the South Gobi’s large coal trucking fleet.

    29/7/2020 - Nomgon 2
The total depth of the Nomgon-2 well was recently called at 550 metres. Logs have been run and measured 91 metres of net coal in the well.
The readings from the main “100 series” seam (measured between 414 to 479 metres) are nearly identical to the strong figures delivered earlier this year from the Nomgon-1 discovery well. The average gas raw gas content was 5.3m3/tonne, in an overall range of 3.4 to 7.4 m3/tonne (from 38 desorbed samples).
Final gas content results have now been obtained on coal samples obtained from the Nomgon-2 corehole. These recorded dry ash free (DAF) numbers in the main seam averaging 8.6 m3/tonne. This is very similar to the 8.9 m3/t measured in the Nomgon-1 well results indicate the lower 100 series coals at Nomgon 2 are fully gas saturated.

The Nomgon-S3 appraisal strat-hole recently reached a total depth of 644 metres. Final wireline logged results indicated a figure of 88 metres.

1/9/2020 - Nomgon 4S- 35 metres of net coals logged.

5/11/2020 - The Nomgon 5S Re-drill appraisal strat-hole well reached a total depth of 450 metres this week and has since been logged and remediated. A total of 47m of net coal was intersected.

23/11/2020 - The Hutul 1S strat-hole well (located 19 kilometres to the East of Nomgon-1) was drilled to test the eastern-most extension of the Nomgon sub-basin. It reached a total depth of 560 metres and intersected 6 metres of coal. Further tests and analysis is required to determine if this is a basinal extension from Nomgon or a new depocentre, but on the face of the facts available at present, this is a promising find.

this info is directly from multiple announcements. i haven't included many details or this post would be painfully long to read.
I encourage holders who are feeling a little disgruntled (or not) to go over the past 2-3yrs of ops. updates and reassess their appetite for risk on this stock.

    GLTAH, cheers everyone
