The ROI and appetite for risk will be different for everyone here. Personally I would like this to be done and dusted over the next 2 years or earlier if possible, in the realm of a 15-20x from where we sit now. For me that would be a life changing, fantastic return.

Timing is everything. Someone buying into EXR now stands to make more than I will after 2 years of paitently holding and accumulating but that's the game. Getting greedy and adding additional years for a possible 50x return isn't worth it IMO given the political and geographical risks brewing.
