I think I'll rename 2022 the year that went sideways. It has felt like the price has been under sustained pressure and has been slowly leaking, but my suspicion is that's more a factor of a lot of us here expecting the price to be much higher.

If we look back to the first trading day if this year we opened at 20.5c and closed at 18c on a volume of more than 10 million. BY the end of January our VWAP was 15.4c.

Looking at this week we have a strikingly similar number with the VWAP dropping to 15.5c. Sure the price has risen and fallen, but it always seems to come back to this range. One thing that is unmistakable is a drop in volume. The project has de-risked, added new components to allow for multiple shots on goal, the macro economic environment has been highly appealing for gas companies but we've skated sideways since late January, waiting patiently for the inevitable re-rate. All I can say is happy new year - and see you all for next years waiting for the re-rate.
