While current SP action are undoubtedly disappointing, characterizing EXR as a speculative exploration stock is misguided; EXR has made very substantial discoveries and now have defined 4 very large (both very thick and/or very expansive) coal depositions. In addition to this, EXR has a substantive exploration runway remaining.
Figure out for yourself what market cap that should imply and therefore whether you should buy or sell, but what I know for sure is that it can’t be read or interpreted from a chart, or based on unsubstantiated opinions and stories of broker recommendations or management intentions. What matters is fundamentals - and potential; which are currently being dramatically overlooked by the current market in my view.
