I hope we don't see that week repeated too many times again. Odd, I read the quarterley (a backwards looking statement) and thought it was all good. Update on hydrogen coming and gas volumes increasing - great. I still don't know what to think about Queensland - particularly with the socialists interfering in the markets, causing uncertainty and funding to dry up. It's almost like they weren't warned! All that BS talk about greedy mining companies making massive profits, but no acknowledgement that the budget could end up $30 billion in surplus due to the greedy mining companies. How about a bit of thanks for what the mining companies are - thousands of Aussie investors risking their money and keeping funding the stupid ideas of the wastrels in Canberra.

I suspect the volumes this week were driven by panicked retail. We've seen it plenty of times here. The price seemed to do its usual trick - when it gets over sold the smarter investors buy when the dumb ones sell. I'm in a few other companies were I saw the price dropping (and hard) for no fundamental reason, on companies that were delivering and de-risking (ASM and PNV). Couldn't work it out so I bought more. Look at their charts for yourself - these things have a way of correcting themselves.

Anyway, funny what happens when the panic volume runs out isn't it. It was also interesting to note the bot drop the price on close yesterday - it was the only discernible bot action I noticed all week.
