Another flat week with EXR, but I think the news of Barry Feikert either totally selling, or at least selling to lower than the top 20 threshold, has had a significant impact on the price. That would have accounted for a significant percentage of the volume. Probably also explains why the bot kept trying to push the price up. Barry may well have stolen the bots thunder and sold into any strength in the share price which has suppressed - or kept the price relatively stable. The bot has been stuck with their holding, but not been able to get rid of it.
The price started and finished level, but the VWAP dropped just over a pip.
Since 1 Feb the volume has been just over 50 million with 30 million in the first 8 trading days of February (from 31 jan to 8 Feb actually)- since then it's dropped right off to more normal amounts and the price has gone up a pip.
Probably not unreasonable to assume that Barry sold out during that period, just a guess.
