Volume was up significantly on last week but still not a lot of appetite to buy. My suspicion is there are buyers, but they won't stick their toe in the water till they're satisfied the price isn't going to keep heading south. The sales have started off very slow each day while we see which way the wind will blow. Today, like most days this week, the action starts off on the CSX and eventually the ASX plays catch up. Buyers appeared on the closing auction today when they realised they weren't going to get their buy order dumped into a bit cheaper. Interesting to see that the CSX has been making up an increasing amount of the trading - some days more than half - don't quite know what to read into that.

Interesting through the week that mention of east coast gas shortages for the next three years, then some concern about the Liddel Power Plants imminent closure. I've been on the fence with the Qld gas acquisition, but it would well turn out to be a 'right place, right time' master stroke.

Like most, my wish is to get an understanding of what is going to happen in Mongolia this year, along with an understanding of the plan for our path to sales. My suspicion is this will arrive along with the results of the commercial gas flow.

Maybe the luck of the Irish will be with us on this St Patricks day.
