bonus,
Yes, someone i read recently discussed their calculations about the transport project.
There are so many logistical projects now, within projects.
It's not really our professional specialty as a company and its not mine personally to know anything about this stuff! I do know a good Project Engineer though.
The astuteness that will be required to fully grasp the tasking at hand is not for the downtown conveyancer, its quite daunting for me to consider. And that is why the responsibility for it has been delegated out to both local and internationally minded industry professionals and specialists. This is no longer a company that needs to be obsessed with finance, we have entered a new wonderland IMO.
A huge project is at hand, but it is an official go ahead from now, at the least. I mean that the ticks associated with getting this agreement finalised are all earned now, but yes, the construction phase is yet to come.
Until that starts, i guess the price can only grow in line with future ticked boxes.
A lot more area can be covered, as our team will now consist of hundreds and possibly thousands of employees who will evenetually have a hand in bringing all of this tpgether. The teams will decide how we do something, but the fact that we are doing it is already destined, considering that the project is underwritten.
I'm sure that a lot of planning has been diligently covered for the companies to be free about saying how their feasibility study has revealed a $100millino saving.
For all i know, a lot of the things the layperson like me considers is in fact already factored and prepared for.
The one ting that i know does need to happen, and it is the bane of the whole of Victoria, it's the rail and port scenario. I dare say that the Government will be pro-developement/re-design if enough industries are tapping their feet.
I know the market will applaud the day that the first concrete pour is done and after that the opening of the plant and on and on the milestones willgo - but we are well on our way and far more de-risked today than what we were last week.
Cheers
