yeah good post wrxsti. Its good to read such posts, rather than the general conversations that some others have (not being harsh - sambora, nobby and others...as I know you're just having fun).

The price has not been the best in the past two days, but I simply feel the big picture has not been sold to the bigger players and brokers. Pattersons haven't sold (we are led to believe) so thats a good thing.

I worked out that over the next 12-18mths, that EXT will profit (EBIT) about $6.5m to $7m based on the reserves. Envelope stuff: 27,500oz (50% of 55,000oz) at $650AUD oz. Based on $400AUD costs (including royalties , etc), thats $250AUD an oz for EBIT.

Shares on issue is 550m now but will get to 700m with the performance shares going to Coronet for the pouring of gold and other achievements. (man Coronet got a deal out of this - they must have propped up the company early on after Tuart Hill ... don't know the fully story, perhaps someone can elighten us).

So EPS would be $6.875m / 700,000,000
= 0.982c
Price of 3.5c = P/E of 3.56

If share Price was say 11c, then P/E would be 11.20

I know mining stocks are not valued this way (some people still like it though), but seems reasonable for fundamentals doesn't it ???

Then you have the uranium side with Husab that hopefully will show that sit on a bit of the stuff at $34.50USD a pound (yes a new high again - and forward price is another $1.25 on top of that !)
