Extract unit sees Rossing output at 15 mln lb/yr by 2015

CAPE TOWN, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Extract Resources EXT.TA unit Swakop Uranium expects uranium oxide output at its Rossing South mine to start in the fourth quarter of 2013, with a ramp-up to 15 million pounds a year seen by 2015, its chief executive said on Friday.
"(We) hope to commence production in Q4 2013, ramping up to a base case 15 million pounds per annum by Q4 2015. The life of mine at this conservative production rate will be in excess of 20 years," Swakop Uranium CEO Norman Green told Reuters in response to emailed questions.
