Its theoretically possible although unlikely, that in CONJUNCTION with one another the big guys might have their eye on all the issued stock, (or as much as they can shake loose) while still maintaining their respective percentages.

The majors must know by now what we mere mortals do not yet (come on), re Z3 and beyond. PM was very strongly and quickly sidelined and the only reason you'd remove such a brilliant manager, would be positioning for control.

Something this gorgeous might even give rise to a new JV entity who might, (neck stuck way out here) end up with enough stock to compulsorily gobble the rest. Between them they already have 60%-odd. Not sure of the legalities here.
Either way its good for holders. The retail holders have ultimate power in any scenario. Its a game of attrition and unless you're expecting a bloody great margin call, there is only upside in holding tight and loading up on the dips.

NOBODY squashes SP like we've seen of late unless they're acquiring. The more we buy, the less there is for them, and retail leverage always gets a better TO deal if and when one came along.

All will be revealed before Oct 30 IMHO.
