The word equity is interesting. Dictionaries define equity as ownership in an asset. Who knows. It's possible China may do a Simandou MK2 and scoop the lot.

Maybe the steel behemoths will take a partial stake in the world class high grade mega cluster and purchase offtake supplies in a hybrid arrangement like a streaming deal lasting decades.

It's a waste of time to speculate IMO. Let Ding do his thing in Africa. Sure enough he will have to update the market before the end of the month.
