Cabalaine, the company advised 4 weeks ago that an update on the preferred course of action is anticipated in the first half of calendar 2015. They also confirmed that it had insurance POLICIES for a variety of citcumstances, including proerty damage and business interruption and they had commenced discussion with the insurers.
Given that Koolan Island had an enterprise value of over $600m, they will most likely negotiate a decent insurance payout, so not worried at all. In fact, this is the best possible outcome that MGX could have hoped for with IO prices freefalling to $70
