In relation to the acquisition of the project; it's like with most things in life: you have to know people (plus pay $1.26m ).
It might also have something to do with CTM having a strategic alliance with Terrativa Minerais SA – one of Brazil’s pre‐eminent private exploration groups.
Then Terrativa might have pushed this project into CTM or they might have known/gotten someone else in Brazil to push it into CTM.
Why would Terrativa do that?
They're one of CTM's largest shareholders.
So:
- Company-making project goes into CTM
- CTM gets made into a decent company/share price goes up
- Terrativa benefits as their big share holding in CTM increases in value.
- CTM Management also love this path as they are also big holders of CTM shares (Darren Gordon, CTM Managing Diretor, is just under Terrativa on the below list)
