It is a platform that metalstorm are not even allowed to talk about by LAW, it is something that is hidden from view, it is one platform that the US are extremely worried about in regards to proliferation and it was once called Mach 5/50, it has other names like Hyperburst for instance which only surfaced recently, but that is one aspect of the mach 5/50 platform, there will be many others, I have an idea that the hypervelocity gun mentioned about by the USMC, scheduled for development in 2012 is another, the US has abandoned the Rail Gun for now anyway, this will do much the same albeit at a slightly lower velocity but one which far exceeds today's artillery or gunnery and is a fraction of the cost,it is light and therefore much more maneuverable, it doesn't require a massive power source and I would guess more reliable when things like wear are taken into account.
