I think last time the way they extended the options was to issue new options at a token amount. This may be a consideration. They could raise a little more cash to "keep the lights on" for a month and satisfy those with lots of options and then have the potential of the income from the potential conversion down the track if the share price warrants it.

That would be my plan.

Disclosure I do hold options but far less than my heads holdings.
