It would appear to me that the mistake that many of us have
made is to believe that the institutions would jump in big at this time. Having been badly mauled with property securities over the last six months I suspect it would be
a brave institution that would be game to invest, knowing
that if Centro turned turtle it would have to try and explain this, as well as all of its earlier losses, to investors.
