What are Sibanye’ s shareholders (and board) going to think about paying US $550m for half of RR when IONR ( current MC US $180m) and the Li price is showing no sign of a recovery anytime soon. And on top of that the commitment of funding the increased opex (50pc) going fwd ?
Sibanye looks to have their own issues atm.
Hopefully there’s a Plan B.
Wish someone would ask Bernard that instead of praising all the great things they’ve done and how wonderful RR’s mineralogy is ???
I believe in mgmt and the company…..but we have had the same interview for 2 years… or longer
