These US autos are all pivoting from vertical integration strategy. See GM deal with LG. Could spell trouble for LAC particularly if they don’t get the DOE loan.
i really hope we are keeping in the good graces of our Korean friends. The Koreans will be the ones converting LCE produced in the USA ( ie Rhyolite Ridge) into cathode for their planned battery factories.
Ken B also references Korean involvement in the nth American supply chain in his recent interview in The Australian
