The next public comments period is expected to begin sometime in Q1 2024, which means this month.
This is the second or third public comments period, the last one being a year ago, early in 2023.
How many public comments period is the BLM going to dictate?
These are delaying tactics.
During the last public comments period last year, the (fake) conservationists and anti-mining extremists petitioned the BLM three (3) times to extend the period, siting all kinds of spurious reasons for needing extra time, but it was them simply playing out their tactics to delay ... delay ... delay at all costs.
So, during the last public comments period, the BLM extending the period twice, effectively making the period three (3) times longer than originally announced.
Expect the (fake) conservationists and anti-mining extremists to do exactly the same with this public comments period. They will keep petitioning for longer, and if last year is anything to go by, then the BLM may have set a precedent, which would see this new public comments periods stretch out to 3 months, instead of the 1 month announced. Yes, it would be pure discrimination based on a false premise.
Why the BLM is not a wake up to these tactics is somewhat bewildering.
But then again, maybe it's not that surprising, since it was originally a "whistleblower" inside the BLM that informed the (fake) conservationists and anti-mining extremists in the first place of how to delay and hinder Ioneer. It gives the impression that perhaps the extremist greenies may have a discriminatory insider within the bureaucracy. This is how politics works.
So now, let's wait and see how this next public comments period plays out.
The question is though, will it really be the public doing the commenting, or will the BLM simply be flooded by comments from psychologically damaged environmental extremists who have formed their own cabal, and who simply make a very good living out of free government grants and handouts, year after year.
