“At what point do we stop referring to Extinction Rebellion members as'climate activists' but what they actually are, rebranded Marxist guerillas? They are hostile to western capitalism and industrialization, propose replacing democracy with a 'citizens assembly' and have a self righteous belief that the rights of ordinary citizens going about their lawful business is subservient to their activities. More worryingly, some members are on record as saying that they are prepared to die for the cause. It seems that blocking traffic is just the beginning.
