Going from alpha to beta is going to require roasting so there is a cost there.
To enter the process down the train makes sense if it is cheaper elsewhere.
I wonder about losses, as in maybe some converted send it through again maybe?

I think once it is on a boat it doesn't matter so much unless there is distance to port, in which case any downramper could have a field day on that.
