They haven’t said much at all about a second conversation facility, I have never even seen Ken mention this in his presentations, only POSCO. However on October 17 2020 I screenshot and posted this from the investors part of their website. Notice the wording is similar to the video “currently being evaluated”. The wording here also suggests any such facility would not be a JV but 100% PLS owned. if memory serves this was around the time that CATL and I believe Panasonic we’re announcing 15-20bn of investment to make Indonesia a battery hub, potentially ken is looking at being the hydroxide supply for their batteries.
Not long after the wording changed to this and remains less specific
as the video is only a few days old let’s hope the information is current and there is something in the works!
