i personally don't think it's worth any sort of investment in the walhalla area. Whole area is a forest and it will be a legal/permiting/environmental nightmare getting any sort of works approved let alone another mine built.
I worked at morning star for a bit under aul and white rock minerals. White rock was trying to get approval for some remote drilling in the woods point area and struggled to get approval to drill and that's just for one location. Everything is so spread out with many prospective areas but realistically finding and drilling something good enough to economically mine in this modern environment would takes years and tens of millions of dollars. Frankly even if they did get some amazing drill hits for another fostervile like mine (unlikely) getting the approvals to build a modern mine in the middle of a Victorian forest is slim to none. Far too much going against you to try the area despite historic production.

Better sticking to brownfields and already existing mines in my opinion, beauty of the union hill mine is it's an already existing mine and next to an already existing gold mill, needing only limited legal permits and opex/capex. In saying that I wasn't impressed with most of the drill hits I saw from there last couple of rounds there but hopefully they can find some better stuff, would like to see what's deeper, could be big potential further down from the historic workings.
