thanks for that post, I am a new investor in gold, VRE and MUN for that matter , so reposting these sorts of things is helpful for us newbies. I am bullish on gold and emerging producers and have diversified a bit out of oil as US weakness could see a drop in oil prices and subsequent investor departure!

I have watched the tirade over the sale of VREs stake in platinum with great amusement. If VRE got a good market price then what does it matter? Right now they can ride out the current turbulence and be in a good position to pounce on something good if things go really bad
