I think Stephen Dattels would be an asset to the Extract board, as Marben said "bring his skills in dealing with the "big boys" that I feel would be invaluable and am sure that (like Peter) he would be committed to obtaining the best deal for Extract when negotiating with those big boys, as it would be in his own interest to do so.
"As they say "better to have him in the tent pi**ing out than out of the tent pi**ing in".
However I am definitely against the appointment of Mark Hohnen to the EXT board especially at the expense of loosing Peter Mc. Apart form increasing KAH's representation on the board, I can see no value he would bring personally to the board. In fact I think it would have a detrimental effect on the boards credibility and it's reputations for being Conservative, especially considering some of the statements he as made lately.
Let's hope some common sense can prevail in the end.
