. . . . .and if construction is to start as soon as Q2, 2012, do we think any potential suiter with "in country" synergy opportunitites for HUSAB is going to sit back and allow this thing to progress to financing and letting of contracts when such developments would reduce the NPV of the "synergised" project post acquisition?
IF and that means IF Rio are to make a play, IMO they must move in the next 3 months to maximise their advantage and therefore the NPV of the HUSAB project as it stands to them.
Many other potential suitors also have synergies in terms of the uranium fuel supply chain, but I think only RIO appear to have production synergies at the mine face.
Just my views - been waiting quite a while for this, not a long as many, but long enough.
