The canadians seem hyper-bullish on the U spot price.

Energy guru, Bill Powers, editor of Canadian Energy Viewpoint, recently added uranium to his energy coverage. He forecast $50/barrel crude oil long before others and told StockInterview.com, "In three years, we (uranium prices) should be well over $50/pound. Before the end of this decade, uranium will probably be $100/pound." Powers also explained that the United States Enrichment Corporation, which was developed during the Clinton Administration (as a megatons-to-megawatts program), is running out of uranium. "This is an extremely bullish scenario right now," Powers emphasized, "because uranium prices are rising despite the fact that USEC is dumping more than three percent of the world's uranium consumption onto the market place." Power worries, "When this dries up, we should see markedly higher uranium prices."

"There are very little spot sales going on," said Miller who is also serving his second term as a Wyoming legislator. "No one has any extra uranium to sell on the spot market. There's just not excess inventory that people are unloading in the spot market." Miller explained it would take uranium at $30/pound to get many old uranium projects started again. "There's just no excess inventory," Miller noted. "There are only a few uranium producers: Cogema, Cameco, RTZ and ERA (Australia)."
