it will be interesting to see future performance of industry super funds given a higher proportion of their assets are unlisted.
why is this a concern?
because unlike listed investments which are priced to market, unlisted is based on other criteria. That criteria in the current environment is likely holding asset values at prices above market.
My personal super is with an industry fund given my historical business interests, but I switched from a standard allocation, to purely asx exposure 4 months ago. That means my industry super fund has no choice but to allocate my super to asx listed exposure, no unlisted exposure for me
it will be interesting to see future performance of industry...
