Honestly, Abbott said it in his reply "There are no Electric Planes for people to use".. etc etc..

This government believe things will suddenly be invented just because they throw billions of dollars at it???

Why doesn't the P.M come out bluntly and state "The east coast of Australia has an abundance of Coal Seam Gas reserves which will be instrumental in supplying new gas-fired power stations".

Instead she is pushing "renewables" and an industry which simply doesn't exist yet because the technology to make them viable does not exist !

What the??

Why can't she just be frank with the Australian people?
