reading CGT's geological reports it seems to me that Ballarat's lodes are different to those found anywhere else
they are said to be "flat makes" and "leatherjackets" and looking at the geological diagrams they don't look like saddles or anticlines as found around Chewton and elsewhere within the Lachlan fold belt
