The options are to be ASX listed. So they can be traded. If you choose to exercise them when the share price is above 45c, you need to inform the coy and pay them 45c per share and they issue you the stock. What generally happens though is if the share price is say 50c, there will be people will to pay 3-3.5c for the options. Always trades at a discount to intrinsic value as a lot of investors don't have access to the 45c to fund the purchase.
