Why isnt it a reasonable investment? Granted it is a gamble to a degree, as are all investments particularly in the sharemarket. There are strong indications the drugs being trialed are performing well, the demand for cancer treatment is huge. It seems to me it is reasonable though not with out risk. I think it unlikely that we are being seriously mislead about the effectiveness showen by the range of drugs they have. A possibility of a competitor discovering something better could impact the investment as could something like Russia starting a nuclear war or something dire happening to the world economy. These latter risks would impact a range of companies.
