Because it doesn't work like that. If I pump it up to 90cents, then when I'm about to sell, everyone sells before me and drops the price to 70cents, while I pumped it up I had an average of 80cents buying and now dumping at an average price of 60cents. Why would I want to do that?
The pump can only come from mostly money that is not yours. Someone else pumping and you are dumping is the only way to go. Do you want to pump it for me so I dump my position?
