I don't use stop loss very often. Stop loss probably is good for pure TA trades.
Logic is good, especially for holding, if believe instrinsic value is signficantly distorted temporarily, then should hold firmly until price fetches reasonable level.
Falling price doesn't really mean it offers good value, could be value trap as underlining business changes.
Catching a falling knife, usually is not a good idea, as they fell for a reason, but quite often they offer good bounce opportunities.
SHJ is one of the best "falling knives", based on my assessment, PPT seems seeing value as well.
