"Citadel being bought out and this gives people confidence." -- that's drawing a long bow. More likely it means that MM will have more time on his hands and maybe take over the reins at AV1 if he is really that confident in the company. Otherwise the bonus he just received at CGL means he can write off his AV1 investment quicker.
