It looks very sous to me they had full details two days before the asx announcement.
The other thing I find odd is the eligibility to participate in the spp. You need to be a registered holder by 7pm on 5/12/07, so anyone such as myself who bought on the 3/12/07 the day before the trading halt came into effect is not eligible for the spp but then cops the drop in price due to the 15% discount to the last price before the halt. The whole thing makes no sense to me, I guess if you sold on the 3/12/07 then you can buy some back again a couple of weeks later at a 15% discount so thats OK for them, its like a 15% special dividend payment.
