SHUT DOWN THE COAL FIRED POWER STATIONS NOW

I urge all shareholders to vote with the ASA at the AGM for the immediate close of the coal fired powers stations

There is logic to this . NSW gets 35% of its power form coal . If supply interruptions in the US and Europe result in 10 X power bills its in the interests of shareholders and a duty to the plant to shut them down NOW.

I remind the Board

It is their duty to maximise shareholder returns.

As good corporate citizens they have to save the planet

Shareholders have failed too date to seriously look at the case the Greens have . Its time to take an unbiased look. Think of the Grandchildren and how happy they will be with a $100 in the Xmas card instead of the $20 and how much they will thank you for saving the planet
