The ASX uses an algorithm in the morning to set an opening price. In the afternoon to determine a price for unfulfilled orders. (Not at all what you said that I said about 'cleaning up existing orders' - I said it was a time for matching buyers with sellers.) And you said the 'algo is only there to match the orders being placed'. Yes. It is a volume auction. Are we arguing Slick?
