MG likes the interaction and like most things investment can be lonely at times. I personally think he likes the interaction.
My Impressions:
He has taken the decline late last year very personally ( even more than the fact that he must have around $1,8 million invested personally). I suspect that the more general reports are a process during which he is reviewing the portfolio and not wishing to make comments on what is a very difficult market for smaller companies. It's my opinion that the Flyers are way ahead of valuations and the stocks listed overseas are hugely bouted up by the exchange rate. What price for BHP if we were back at parity...
In all the communications I have had with him he is increasing his firm's ability to analyse and value opportunities and avoid as much of the downside as you can.
Personally, I am at the largest cash component ever.
