the 'were not for sale' catches my attention the most and could be seen as the smarter move, if anyone has been following the UMC story...basically UMC had a massive iron ore find right near the BHP tenement at railway. From the word go they were trying to get taken over and were in talks from the beginning to try and get bought out. of course because everyone knew they were not going to go into production and would rather get taken over then the bid recently from BHP was only $1.30 which was extremely clever on BHP's behalf but not so much for the UMC management and shareholders.
Because EXT actually are seriously looking into going into production and are advertising they are not for sale the likely outcome of an offer will far exceed that what UMC could have ever hoped to have gotten. Don't you all know, everyone wants something they cant have...
Well done EXT management be interesting to see what comes :)
