Being an old farmer you learn the effects of what nature can do to your plans and income and learn to survive. I have been a shareholder in AVH since about 2002 and I believe it is seldom a company ever shows as much promise as AVH for future growth and prosperity .
No 1 Bali Bombing notoriety to Fiona Woods and Recell for the very first as treatment of burns . The results saved lives but caused a backlash as it had not gained the protocols needed for use on humans .
No 2 Eventually approval was granted in Australia . Western Australia was the only State to adopt the product with Fiona Woods leading the way. The recell product needed to be used in hospitals but Australia did not have any specialist burns places to warrant the training of doctors or numbers of patients to ever reach a viable business. The company then marketed Recell to other countries .
No 3 .I understand approvals were granted in about 25 countries but sales did not eventuate . About 2011 Recell was taken to America to prove the product . The company at that time I understand did not know enough on the guidelines for their gaining approvals for such a different product . The attempt failed and the RECELL product was floundering . We had a number of leaders over the years but being a new product with so few sales and so little income the future looked grim .Only the diehard shareholders remained because we believed in the product and what it could do for the burn victims . Especially the small children who would have a new skin to grow with them and save all the operations as they grew.
No 4 The white night rode in in the form of the FDA . They saw the benefit of Recell in the early failed approach for approval. With their financial help and hospitals to carry out all the requirements needed for government approvals we are now in a position to prosper. The arguments I see on Hotcopper are pathetic from people who are supposed to understand business . Yes I understand that our leaders have helped themselves before the company has reached profitability but look what they have achieved. Yes they took our company to America .
They have set up the hospitals in America with trained doctors and methods of payment for treatment and soon to do the same in Japan .
With the money they have to bring the pipeline to fruition I have the faith that will be achieved . Bringing AVH to this stage has been like a farmer who spends his lifetime dream of making his property something for which he can be proud.
