I think sentiment towards the delay in testing results and company transition can be best represented by the gradual downtrend in SP over the last few months. The 40% drop in one day however is related to the release of competition results. The timeline clearly indicates this. Was it warranted? I don't think so but hey I'm not the market. The delays in results can be explained by a combination of bureaucratic events I.e. Convening university boards during holidays, and tech resubmits I.e. we have question re such and such. Please address this and get back to us. Reconvene board etc etc. All this takes time and has blown out the time line. Considering the company transition and CR were always conditional upon testing results the whole process has moved sideways. The market doesn't like this sort of disappointment as it should have been all done and dusted by now. Now we have an indeterminate timeline. That's not a good thing. Compounding this now is the added problem of the CR price considering the SP is 5c. Anyway as a positive, regarding competition, which is what thread is about WBT still have the ace of one time pin. It seems that eyeverify and hoyos 1u don't have it. This has to count for something.
Ultimately, it's not the validity of the tech that is the concern but the companies ability to get this product commercialised. It's not an easy task and the market will ruthlessly punish and breach of process or timeline as we have recently seen. My opinion only of course. I might add that my sentiment is buy albeit highly speculative with a high degree of risk attached. This risk is not the tech but managements ability to commercialise the product.
