Senex recently tried to takeover AWE in what appeared to be a bit of a stuff up - in execution terms I mean. It would make sense for them as they appear to be fairly desperate to try and boost their capital structure to stave off being taken themselves. I do question whether it would be allowed to be bantered around the "street" though if what you say is true. IMO
