Cant remember his name, but an East Timorese opposition leader was trying to get the Chinese into East Timor. I think the Solomons would be fair game also if we turned our backs. Chinese ambitions are real and close to home, but if we actively join the US in trying to curtail Chinese ambitions, we will cruel our trade with them and suffer....and not be able to pay for our F35's.
