That’s like 90% of the crypto out there. Mostly nonsense and 0 intrinsic value and 0 utility.
Sand and other gaming tokens serves a purpose. They are limited and serves an actual utility. They are the currencies for the game itself and can be traded for any other currency to ultimately be used in real life too if desired.
With enough DAU, it will naturally create its own economic ecosystem overtime.
