I do think one thing that will further serve to seperate dependancy on China is lithium processing. Amazes me there is no talk of any specialised industry being stood up here in Australia to refine all the lithium mined into battery grade material.
That said you're right. There is a need to develop other markets to which to export. Scomo is finalising a trade deal with the EU and ofcourse the UK. China might have a lot of money and buying power, it doesn't and shouldn't be allowed to control the market.
