I so share your feelings, as I am sure many others do at this very sad time
As you say all of our little ups and downs and for me normal little triumphs, feel rather empty and unimportant just now.
I almost feel a sort of sense of guilt, enjoying little things that we would normally take for granted.
I have no particular religious affiliation, but I pray really hard for someone or something to save our people around the world and our beautiful earth from destruction.
