Minimum buy is always $500 with westpac. Minimum buy with QSuper self-invest is $1500. And that comes with $20 brokerage. Buy 1000 shares and that adds $0.02 to the SP you paid. Imagine buying FMG at $20 per share and that’s 75c extra per share you need to recoup.
