Here is a true story for those who doubt the lion, i will keep it breif so that i dont bore you all.My 18 year old daughter got a after shcool and week end job at the age of 14, i covinced her to save almost all of her money she earnt in i opened a Sharsies trading account over here in nz for her, recently she started a nursing degree so i told here i would pay for her first 2 years fees that are quite a bit, but being inderpendant she refused and has used here profits from LTR to pay here first 2 years plus buy a nice car and still has enough left to pay a depost on here fist house in about 3-4 years time ( at a guess ), so dont give up on your dreams to any younger ones here, very proud dad.
